coaching

I am an executive coach supporting emerging leaders and people navigating role transitions.

I use brain-based coaching questions and practical tools to help clients gain clarity, create new perspectives, and build habits that turn insight into action.

With over 30 years of corporate experience and ongoing training in Brain-Based Coaching with the NeuroLeadership Institute, I bring both practical understanding and a deep commitment to helping people make the most of their opportunities.

My coaching is welcoming, pragmatic and grounded in real-world experience. I work with people who want a thoughtful space to explore challenges, build confidence, and make better decisions in moments that matter.

That includes:

  • Early-career and emerging leaders who want to grow into their role with greater confidence and impact
  • People taking on new responsibilities, moving into leadership, or stepping through a career transition
  • Experienced leaders who want a trusted sounding board to think clearly, test ideas, and work through complexity
  • C-suite executives who need support as part of a broader transition, development, or performance agenda.

Through my joint venture with  Found:Re, Executive Transition Coaching (ETC), I also work with Boards, CEOs, investors and corporates to coach and mentor C-suite leaders through high-stakes transitions. ETC is designed to de-risk senior leadership moves, shorten time-to-impact, and support measurable value creation.

Coaching sessions are tailored to the individual and the context. Some clients come with a specific issue to work through; others want a regular space to reflect, reset, and move forward with intention.

My approach is collaborative, supportive and challenging in equal measure. I will help you think things through, spot patterns, and turn good intentions into practical next steps.

Coaching, at its best, isn’t about giving answers – it’s about asking the right questions. The data shows that great leaders rarely grow alone. It takes a network of support – a village – to thrive, and I’m committed to being part of that for the people I work with.

mentoring

In addition to coaching, I also mentor both seasoned and new leaders, through the Institute of Directors, Chartered Management Institute and 93% Club.

You can reach me through any of those platforms, LinkedIn or directly here.

Growing up in a working-class family and going to state school, I’ve always been aware of how much a single opportunity – a lucky break, a helping hand, a moment of belief – can change someone’s life. As I look at how artificial intelligence is reshaping the job market and threatening the kinds of entry-level roles that once opened doors for people like me, I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of breaks, mentors, and the people who give us that all-important first chance.

Networking

Some practical tips for navigating the minefield of networking and being a connector – and building relationships – rather than a collector of LinkedIn profiles.

“Leaders who navigate complexity well aren't the best networked. They're the most genuinely curious… They show up with warmth, not an agenda”
